Abstract: Shenfu Dongsheng coalfield which is mined by Shendong Mining Area is shallow and deep coal seam occurrence and the mines are mostly developed by adit or inclined shaft. Drilling is often needed in the production process in coalmine. Because the functions of the drills are different, the hole size and depth are also quite different, the corresponding selection of drilling equipment and construction technology also has its own characteristics. Systematic analysis and research on the characteristics and construction technology of underground coal mine in Shendong mining area is studied . It has great significance for the optimal selection of construction equipment and all kinds of drilling process is suitable.In this paper introduces the characteristics and construction technology of drilling used in Shendong mining area.
